At age eight, he was in a Burger King spot. Perhaps slightly more important than that, he co-wrote (with his friend Matt) Good Will Hunting and won an Oscar for original screenplay. In addition to his prolific acting and screenwriting accolades, he’s an amazing director. Gone Baby Gone solidified him as a force in the directing world. He also took on directing a commercial spot for the UN’s Human Refugee Agency, detailing their work supporting refugees in the Congo. So we can now add “good humanitarian” to his resume. He then directed The Town and Golden Globes and Oscar nominations followed. He then directed Argo which won three Academy Awards including best picture. There’s a ton more to say, but why?
